Preview

I thought that I would give everyone a preview of our new prayer card picture. We haven't had one made since before Landon was born so it was about time. We are traveling for a month this summer thus the update. If you noticed, there were streaks in the first one I posted. Thanks to my friend Ruthanne we now have a decent picture. There are a few more at the bottom if anyone is interested.
We have had a very eventful few days since my last post. On Saturday Ethan and I had a little date to see the replica of Christopher Columbus's ship the Nina. He thought that it was pretty cool that he got to go on the ship that he had studied about in school. He thought it was cooler that we ate at Taco Bell on the way home.
On Sunday morning Ethan got sick. (Not from Taco Bell) By Monday night the whole family was out of commission. It was one of those times when you don't even argue about whose turn it is, you just try to prove that you are the sickest. Thankfully we are all better. When the baby gets sick it always adds a little more stress to the mix, we are proud that he is such a little trooper.
Through various situations in my life recently it is becoming more and more clear to me how important it is for God to be enough. I tend to rely on the people around me for my stability instead of depending first on God. This hits closer to home when you try to pass this on to your children. Please pray for us that we will instill such a love and dependence on God that all other relationships that they develop in their lives will pale in comparison to the friendship they have with Jesus.
